It’s the time of year when we enjoy taking a break from the day-to-day to remember

what is important in our lives.
With the approach of Thanksgiving, we would like to give thanks to our friends, family, colleagues and those who have supported us, believed in us and helped us evolve into the company Populus has become. Through the partnership of our clients and industry colleagues, we have been fortunate enough to grow from an idea that was talked about over a beer in New York City, to a thriving company that has launched an entirely new industry. Here is hoping your Thanksgiving is filled with warmth, happiness and the recognition that every day and every experience holds something for which to be thankful.
We are particularly thankful to be a part of an industry which impacts people's health in a positive way. The holidays are a time that highlights the difficulties some people have in visiting a physician in-person. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 76 million Americans suffer from illness around the Thanksgiving holiday season. That is an astounding number which could be reduced with a little thought and attention while preparing and enjoying one of the biggest meals of the year.

With physician appointments being in such high demand at this time of year, telehealth
and virtual care provide a perfect alternative to the in-person consult. It allows people to get the care they need when they need it, regardless of their location.
Thanksgiving wouldn’t be quite the same without sharing it in some way with people important to you. Healthcare is the same way, it’s all about a patient’s support network. Telehealth allows patients to keep their team of doctors at the ready, while also providing a quality of customer service that improves patient outcomes.
Wishing you the happiest of Thanksgivings!
